Whereas we have been devoting ourselves only to arrange hard measures of care for the elderly, it is very important to arrange mental measures. Therefore, I intended to examine their supports from mental aspect and to make clear their consciousness on offering mental supports. AlsoⅠintended to make clear the consciousness of female care-givers who had to take care for the elderly. As the result of this study, first, I have found that the taking care for the elderly was the poorest, and was done without idea. Second, I have found that the care giver's could not afford to take time for themselves, for example their hobbies and their personal well-being. The care-giver's social support networks are based only on their family, especially centering on their- husbands.
