The purpose of this study was to examine the educational effect of the case study. Results were as follows : 1. Students had case studies of internal nursing and surgery nursing respectively. They selected themes according to faculties'characteristics, independently. 2. Students and teachers valued the case study by the same chart of evaluation. Students and teachers gained more than 3 average points of the chart of evaluation. 3. Students evaluated the second case study more highly than the first. 4.
