Eleven healthy subjects (8 male, 3 female), aged 20 to 40 years were participated in this study. Reactivity Was estimated by motor time (MT). MT was calculated that difference measured onset of Electro-myogram (EMG) activity and that of tension curve. Electrode placed on center of the muscles in Rectus Femoris (RF), Vastus Medialis (VM) and Vastus Lateralis (VL) muscles. Subjects sat on the test chair with hip and knee joint at the 90 degree flexion position. Tension curve and EMG were analyzed by a signal system software, as they extended their own legs immediately after photostimulation. Result of this study were following : Reactivity of RF was significantly greater than that of VM and VL. These findings suggest that difference of the muscle fiber type between RF and VM or VL.
