The scale of estimation is composed of 5 basic skill areas of following : basic OT skills (BOTS), activities application and teaching skills (AATS), activities of daily living skills (ADLS), basic management and administration skills (BMAS), and specific technical skills (STS) which consist of 3 areas of practice (physically, mentally, and developmentally disabled). The former 4 are composed of 30 items and the last is composed of 20 items. Each item is rated as follows ; 2 pts : for accomplishment with minimal supervision ; 1 pt : for accomplishment with moderate supervision ; 0 pts : for no accomplishment with close supervision. Maximum total score for one affiliation will be 100 pts. METHODS : 393 recorded score sheets rated by clinical supervisors for 131 students have been statistically analyzed in terms of the total score for each affiliation, sub-scores of 4 basic skill areas, and the one for STS. RESULTS : 1. The mental health area showed the significantly higher averagescore in all four basic skill areas as well as in STS. 2. For each basic skill area BOTS and BMAS was the highest in the average score. 3. The total score of an individual student in three areas was not significantly correlated. 4. There was a significant positive correlation between the total score and sub-scores of 5 basic skills.
