Weekly eighty students evaluated themselves on their self-awareness, their comprehension of patient behavior and the quality of the therapeutic relationship. As a result of this self-evaluation system, according to the students, their level of understanding improved in all three areas after three weeks. T-test comparisons of students' level of understanding after the three weeks indicated significant differences. However, the rate and degree of improvement varied.
