The subjects studied were 123 psychiatric patients placed in Occupational Therapy in S University Hospital. The duration of the study was five years, from 1986 to 1990. Data was collected in the following areas : general information, medical information, psychiatric history, and factors related to the  occupational Therapy itself. We statistically analyzed these data and its relationship to the outcomes. Atten dance rate, regularity and motivation relating to attendance, cooperation with the family, and cooperation with the family doctor proved to be related to the outcomes.
