"山間地域では農地の荒廃化が著しく進んでいる。水田荒廃化の防止策として圃場整備が山間地域でも行われるようになった。急傾斜地に平坦地と同様な画一的な区画形態が採用されると，様々な問題も生じる。　本報では，急傾斜地水田の圃場整備計画の基本的考え方を示し，これを支援する方法と技術を開発し示した。それらは以下の項目である。①全村の圃場整備計画の前提としての水田団地区分の方法，②農家の計画参加の方法とそのための支援システム，③地形に適合する区画形態としての等高線型区画，④進入路の安全性を考慮した区画配置，⑤畦畔除草の安全性と効率性を考慮した畦畔形状。　さらに，基本的考え方に基づいて計画された地区事例を紹介した。",
