The structure of larch stand was clear. In the larch stand,the heights of most invaded broad leave species were less than 7m. The light condition of larch stand was inferior to than natural forests. 10 woody plant species were found in both larch stand and natural forest,while 8 species were found only in natural forest. Although the half of broad leaved species in larch stand was wing-seed-dispersal type,their ability of seed dispersal seemed to be low, because the tree height of these trees were not high. 内容記述 冷温帯上部に植栽されたカラマツ人工林が隣接する針広混交林構成樹種のレフュージアとして機能しうるかどうかを検討するため,信州大学農学部 AFC 西駒ステーションのカラマツ人工林と周囲の針広混交林において,森林の階層構造,林床の光環境,木本植物の種組成を比較した。カラマツ人工林では階層構造が明確であり,侵入した広葉樹の多くは 7m 未満にとどまった。また,林床の光環境はカラマツ人工林で暗かった。両林分間では,種多様性の観点からは差異が見られなかった。しかし一方,広葉樹林に出現した18種のうちカラマツ人工林に出現した種は10種であり,カバノキ属などの陽性の樹種は侵入していなかった。カラマツ人工林を構成する種の約半分が風散布種子をもつ種であったが,樹高が低いことから,その種子散布能力は相対的に低いと考えられた。以上のことから,カラマツ人工林は広葉樹のレフュージアとして機能しうるものの,本調査地ではその能力は十分に発揮されていないと結論された。 Forest structure, light condition, and species composition were compared between larch stand and natural mixed forest in order to evaluate larch stand as a refugium for broad leaved species.
