穂揃期の水田圃場内でスイーピング法による捕獲虫数と収穫期の斑点米の発生程度を調査した。さらに2002年には畦畔の草刈りがカメムシ類に与える影響を明らかにするため，草刈り区と草生区を設けてマレーズトラップによりその後のカメムシ類の捕獲調査を行った。その結果，スイーピング法による捕獲数と斑点米数の間には高い正の相関(r＝=0.773)が得られた。特に早生品種(あきたこまち，トドロキワセ，もちひかり)ではカメムシ捕獲数と斑点米数の平均値が高く，またその相関係数はr＝0.869となり高い正の相関を示した。品種別にみるともちひかりが特に高く，またカメムシ捕獲数と斑点米数に高い正の相関がみられた (r＝0.795)。マレーズトラップによる捕獲数の多かった種は，ホソハカメムシとアカヒゲホソミドリカスミカメであった。捕獲されたカメムシ類の合計値をみると草刈り区の捕獲数は草生区に比べ約1/3と少なく，捕獲時期も草刈り後2週間以内に92％の個体が捕獲され，63％の捕獲であった草生区と有意な差がみられた。", "subitem_description_type": "Abstract"}]},
