This paper describes graphical analysis of the Scherbius system using the stepless speed change device. When the exciting admittances of the main induction motor and the auxiliary induction motor are neglected, the current locus of the main induction motor becomes a circle. Thus, characteristics of this Scherbius system can be computed by the graphical method which is analogous to Heyland\u0027s method. 内容記述 | In the Scherbius system, an auxiliary induction motor is connected to the rotor of a main induction motor, and the rotor power of the main induction motor is transformed into mechanical power by the auxiliary induction motor and transmitted to the a-c generator through a stepless speed change device. This paper describes graphical analysis of the Scherbius system using the stepless speed change device. When the exciting admittances of the main induction motor and the auxiliary induction motor are neglected, the current locus of the main induction motor becomes a circle. Thus, characteristics of this Scherbius system can be computed by the graphical method which is analogous to Heyland's method. At the end of the computation, in consideration of the exciting admittances computed results are corrected, and then the computed results are nearly coincided with the experimental results. | |||||
