"工学部の学生に2変数関数の微分積分学の講義を行うときに大切なことは，2変数関数のグラフのイメージをまず獲得させることである。本研究の目的は，工学部の学生に2変数関数のグラフのイメージを獲得させるための手軽に実施可能な教材を提案し，その有効性を検証することである。本研究で提案する教材は，A4用紙3枚を1組として活用して1つの2変数関数のグラフの概形をイメージするというものである。本研究においてこの教材の有効性を検証するために，筆者が非常勤講師として担当している信州大学工学部機械システム工学科1年A組対象の微分積分学ⅡAで授業を実施した。そしてこの授業の前後に行った2変数関数のグラフのイメージを記述させる問題の妥当解答の割合を比較することで，本研究で提案する教材が上記目的を達成するための教材として有効であることを検証した。さらに，授業後に実施したアンケートにより，学生も2変数関数のグラフのイメージを得られたことを実感していることを明らかにした。",
