SPM, which was developed from the clinical experience of the author, can be applied to clients over 6 year old. It enables clinicians to tap into the subconscious in order to deepen the client\u0027s consciousness. This technique consists of the following steps that are carried out in the order as described below. First, client draws him or herself on a piece of white paper with crayons. Second, he or she draws a thing, an event or a person which he or she worries about. Third, he or she draws the background of the picture which represents his or her psychological environment.
