As the rsult，these intensified human activities have brought heavy water pollution of Lake Suwa. Fortunately，t he state of this lake is on the way to improve by the operation of sewerage system in 1979. So we tried to get the understandings on the environmental conservation of the industrialist in Suwa area by the method of an quastionnaire. 732 of the quastionnaire were sent out，a nd 317 of them，4 3.3% were recollected. It was made clear that the majority of them had correct understanding on the environmental coservation and had better to keep their life in natural environment.
