| 内容記述 | The relationships of the childrens personality and the pattern of parental attitudes toward children were investigated by severel methods. Subjects were 126 kinder-garten children and their mothers. The results are the following: (1) There was a difference between the evaluation of children's behavior by their mothers and by the teachers of the kinder-gartens. (2) A significant relation was found between mother's self-evaluation of their attitude toward children and their evaluation of children's behavior, but no particular relations were found between the mothers' self-evaluation and teachers' evaluation of children's behavior. This fact offers a suggestion as to who should observe the behavior of the children in the study of the parent-child relationships. (3) It was found that the undesirable behaviors of the children were related ,to the distinguishing traits of their mothers' rearing attitude. (4) According to the good-poor analysis of the children, the tendency of the .behaviors of the good-group members extremely differed from that of the poorgroup members. The rearing attitude of the mothers of both groups also indicated :significant differences in 6 out of 10 patterns of their attitudes. (5) More children of early weaning and more youngest children were found in the good-group than in the poor-group, and children late in weaning and the first-born were found more in the poor-group than in the good-group. (6) With exclusive reference to these facts, the relation between mothers' rearing attitude and their children's personality was discussed. | |||||||||
