| 内容記述 | We estimated the responses of the autonomic nervous system through the dynamics of peripheral circulation in patients accompanied with motor dysfunction. For sixteen normal subjects and four patients with left-hemiplegia, the systemic blood pressure on upper limbs and the blood now velocity with the ultrasonic doppler flowmeter in the radial artery were determined respectively. The results of this study is as in the following ; In normal subjects, the blood flow velocity and the blood pressure made no significant differences between right and left sides in upper limbs. In hemiplegia patients, the blood flow velocity on the affected side was distinctly reduced as compared with the normal side, however, there were no significant differences in the blood pressure between both sides. In the blood pressure and the blood flow velocity on the right upper limbs, there were no significant differences between normal and hemiplegia groups, but there were statistically significant differences (p<0.05) between the two in the blood flow velocity in the left upper limbs. We may conclude that a decrease of the blood flow in the affected upper limbs is caused by the increase of vascular resistance in consequence of changes in autonomic nervous system. | |||||||||||||||||||
