| 内容記述 | The maternal serum screening has been getting started since 1994 in Japan as a commercial based clinical test. Ｉｔ has expected that such screening tests will be more and more common among Japanese pregnant women because of its easy way at the starting-point in a serial of test. However, the counseling system that help women's or couplets own decision making based on appropriate informed consent has not yet well functioned in medical field. especially concerning these issues. We should now consider the social and psychological implications of maternal serum screening mandate for individuals with handicap such as Down syndrome already among our society. | |||||||
