"要旨：長野県内の住民を対象に、エコチル調査に対する認知と意識調査を毎年1回、3年間実施した。「エコチル調査」という言葉の認知割合はエコチル調査対象地域内において3年間を通じて確実に上昇しており、マスコミ媒体の効果も見られた。エコチル調査への関心や社会的重要性は6割以上が感じていたが、調査や講演会等への参加意思は「どちらともいえない」と回答する人が多かった。エコチル調査は13年間にわたるコホート調査であり、調査への継続的参加には地域の人々の認知や意識が影響を与える。地域への調査結果のフィードバック、環境と子どもの関わり等の情報提供を含めた広報活動により、地域の人々が「参加・協力したい」と思えるような働きかけをすることが大切であると考えられた。",
