"飯田保健所では、スギ・ヒノキ花粉飛散情報提供事業の一環として、平成5年からスギ・ヒノキ花粉飛散量調査を開始し、その後アレルギー性鼻炎患者数調査、スギ雄花着花状況調査、飛散予測を行っている。平成4年から調査を実施している長野市との比較を通してこの事業の役割について検討した。飯田市と長野市を比較すると10年間の平均値では、飛散開始日については、飯田市が11日早く、飛散量については、スギはほぼ同じ、ヒノキは飯田市が多く、スギ･ヒノキ合計でも、飯田市が多かった。当所のアレルギー性鼻炎患者数調査では、患者数は調査開始以来最も多かった。環境省の花粉総飛散量等の予測は、長野県では長野市のみであり、飯田市については行われていない。長野県では今、組織改正に伴う事業の見直しが行われているが、飯田保健所が花粉飛散状況を調査し地域住民に情報を提供することは、有用であると考える。",
