"私達は日々看護を行っていく上で,看護診断を行いそれぞれの患者にあった看護計画を立案し,看護ケアを提供している。しかし,アンケートを行ってみると,患者は日々の生活指導やセルフケアの援助などの看護ケアを看護ととらえておらず,患者が看護婦に期待している看護と,看護婦が提供している看護との間にずれが生じているのではないかと考えた。そこで,患者と共に看護計画を立案し看護計画を開示することで,より具体的で個別的な看護計画を立案することができた。それを評価,修正していくなかで,患者自らが意見を訴えることができ,患者自身の意志の決定につながり,闘病意欲を増すことができた。また,スタッフ間での看護ケアの統一を図ることができ,患者との信頼関係を結ぶ一因になったと考えられる。",
