内容記述 After reclamation of the field of volcanic ash organic soil (heavy acid), the effects of application of liming materials (ground limestone, ground dolomite and slag) were ascertained, using soybean and wheat as the test plants in the field experiments. The results of these experiments may be summarized as follows. 1. From the results of growth in both soybean and wheat plants, there was no recognized significance on 5 per cent level. 2. On the yield of soybean, there was recognized significance on 5 per cent level such as ground limestone < ground dolomite < slag. The application of slag was more effective than other treatments on the yield of soybean. It will be the effects of magnesium, manganese and silicon contained in slag. 3. On the yield of wheat, there was recognized significance on 5 per cent level such as ground limestone < ground dolomite ≒ slag. The applications of ground dolomite and slag were more effective than that of ground limestone on the yield of wheat. It will be the effect of magnesium contained in ground dolomite and slag.
