Galerkin\u0027s finite element method is used to get discrete basic equations for flows, shape functions adopted are determined on the basis of the utilization efficiency of computer and the boundary conditions, and coefficients of horizontal eddy viscosity are determined as a function of mesh scale on physical bases. Galerkin's finite element method is used to get discrete basic equations for flows, shape functions adopted are determined on the basis of the utilization efficiency of computer and the boundary conditions, and coefficients of horizontal eddy viscosity are determined as a function of mesh scale on physical bases.
