| 内容記述 | The author clearly found it from the various experiments, that the motion of the solid cage, being affected by no influence of the dynamic unbalance of the cage, was caused to occur by sliding contact between revolving balls and cage pockets. As the cage rotates and inclines horizontaly to the revolving axis of ball and is at the lower position of it, the speed of the cage increases or decreases while the balls are revolving. The running cage is given parallel oscillation in the axial direction by the action of revolving balls and the gyroscopic effect of the cage. And the axial oscillation closely relates to the variation of the revolving speed of the cage. It becomes the main oscillation among these oscil lations of horizontal, vertical and axial directions. There were no differences between the characteristics of the motion of the solid cages guided by the inner ring and those of the motion of the ones guided by the outer ring. Therefore the author considers that there is little reason to choose between both the cages from the viewpoint of motion. | |||||||
