| 内容記述 | The effect of an external uniform magnetic field B on incompressible magneto-fluid dynamic turbulence is considered in the presence of a constant angular velocity (omega) with which the whole system is rotating. It is assumed that the imposed field is strong enough for nonlinear coupling terms as well as reactions from the turbulence to be negligible. Regions are considered where the spatial inhomogeneity due to rotation plays no significant role. Under these simplifications, a set of linear differential equations governing the spectral tensors for turbulent energies and mechano-magnetic interactions is derived. The equations are combined to get the associated scalar form whose explicit solutions are obtained in a certain simple case. The partition of energy between the mechanical and magnetic modes is discussed for the two special cases: (1) (omega)//B and (2) (omega)B. As an essential result, it is shown that the Coriolis force more or less destroys the tendency to equipartition by reducing the net flow of energy between the two modes. Furthermore, the analogy and contrast to the effect of the Hall current terms are discussed in detail. | |||||
