| 内容記述 | A histological observation was made to gain a better understanding of the hygroscopic Curvature of buckwheat chaffs. The buckwheat pericarp consists of four layers; The outer-most layer (epicarp) are composed of elongated spiral-reticular cells which are ready to absorp water. These cells are arranged aslant and bilateral symmetrically to the axis of the chaff. The unstickiness and flouriness of the buckwheat chaffs may be involved in these histological conditions. | |||||||
