| 内容記述 | In earlier studies, we found that students lacking self-respect were more likely to have problem behaviors. We thought that integrating the "life education," which can enhance the students' self-respect, and the "life-skill training," which is effective in achieving primary prevention, in one health education program was necessary. As a result of such an integrated health education program, students developed self-respect, established their views on life-and-death, and developed love and respect for their parents. In order to make this program effective and to prevent discontinuation, we strongly suggested that teachers should share the purpose and information of the program. We also made the program structured for being flexible and easy to use. As a result it was easy for classroom teachers to incorporate the program into their teaching practice, which enabled them to continue it for several years with good outcomes. | |||||
