| 内容記述 | Nowadays enhancing global communication skills is considered to be one of the most important aspects of English education. In such a situation, we have to make English education in Japan more practical and effective than it is now. Recently, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology: MEXT has launched a new policy, in which they call for the needs to measure students' proficiency of the four skills (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking) using a new type of entrance examination. This means that to develop a teaching method is the first priority not only in universities but in high schools. In this paper, we will introduce modular-style teaching materials based on a framework of cognitive linguistics and argue that these modular-style materials have many advantages over other conventional teaching methods in terms of the efficiency, limitation of the time and place, and the students' motivation. | |||||||||||
