内容記述 The new subject `Information' will be taught in upper secondary school from 2003. But the practical research on this subject is not enough as compared with existing subjects. The purpose of this study is to gain some insights into information teaching through students' activities in the process of modeling and simulation. The results revealed that the strategy of generating variables played an effective role in bringing out students' ideas for revising the initial model in the stage of verification. The results suggested that the activity for verifying the product of simulation can be a means of overcoming the problem concerned with `Situatedness'.
